Rook is my adventure dog! He is full of life and has a lot of courage. He is powerful and can be intense but never mean-spirited. He is an avid retriever and loves to play tug. His beautiful structure has enabled him to run and trot more than 20 miles in a day of trail riding and bushwhacking. He loves camping, swimming and exploring. Rook is one of those dogs that is keen for just about any activity, especially if he’s doing it with his beloved human “mom”. He is a fun and gentle puppy raiser and a playful companion to his many dog friends. In some circumstances, Rook is aloof with strangers and suspicious until he has assessed them. But he loves hosting company at home and he enjoyed greeting clients when he was at the grooming salon. There is so much more I could say about this dog and how much I love him. Rook is a lot of dog in some ways, but his discernment and lack of aggression, his desire to be a good and loyal companion, and his joy in life, make him a pleasure to live with. I will always treasure my one and only Rook.
