I will never forget the moment I met Jaci. She was 2months old and had just made the long trip from Alaska to Montana (with a stopover in Oregon with Grandma Elaine). Crystal and I collected her from the airline counter and took her outside to potty. She immediately grabbed my water bottle and made it her toy. Crystal got out her camera to take photos and Jaci grabbed the camera strap and started tugging! I knew then that she was going to be everything we hoped for. Jaci grew into a beautiful, smart, sassy girl who excelled in her SAR training. She also was an excellent mother to the Dragon litter. Even at 16 years of age, she floated on the move, with a ground-covering trot. Jaci contributed wonderful structure, movement and drive to her offspring. I’m forever grateful to her breeders, Anna Lampley and Diana Root.
